We are in the process of building an access road into our property. My question is partly about how best to handle the boundary with the neighbors. What is the cheapest way to create a clear edge and avoid sloping when the height difference is a few decimeters up to about 8 dm at most? There are different types of stone walls that can be built. How do you make them withstand the pressure when, for example, driving a car on the road above? Do you cast them in place?
Finally, if you have done it in any of the ways mentioned above, how do you handle water drainage? Do you need to dig ditches and lay down drainage pipes, or how do you manage your commitment according to the building permit, which requires you to handle your own water?
