2 sliding doors in the middle of the floor
I'm going to install two sliding doors to create a wardrobe.
The sliding doors will run parallel, but one will go further than the other (which is normal when you have a track on the floor).
Now I'm going to hang the doors in tracks on the ceiling, and since one door can move 2 door widths to the side, I can't use a floor guide but need to put some kind of strip or similar on the floor that guides the doors all the way they can move sideways.
Has anyone done something similar and has a nice and smart solution for the guiding part on the floor?
I have parquet flooring and would prefer something low that you can step over/on.
I was thinking about angle strips along the door - but there’s probably a nicer solution.

Are you going to build the doors yourself? Or are you buying ready-made doors? If they are ready-made doors, they usually come with tracks. Otherwise, there are kits for building yourself with tracks for the ceiling and floor. See http://www.garderobspecialisten.com/gds/
Then wardrobe doors are not usually hung from the ceiling, as they often become too heavy. As far as I know, they typically roll on the floor track, and the ceiling track is there to prevent them from tipping sideways.
Or are you planning to use regular door panels as sliding doors?

I was thinking of using regular door panels, 2 pieces, each 72 cm wide and 204 cm high -
I already have 2 ceiling rails of this type. The bottom bracket can't be used as a guide on one door since it moves more than a door width. The doors will be parallel and in the open position will slide to the left, which makes the opening a total of 136 cm. When closed, one door almost moves 2 door widths to the right, hence the need for floor guidance.
So the question is how do I create a guide rail on the floor nicely? Or perhaps rather 2 guide tracks with 3 strips?
