How to cover gap on top of wardrobe?

Hello,

I intend to build in this wardrobe to the extent of placing filler pieces on the side.

However, I'm wondering what to do with the ceiling since there's a small gap. It would be annoying if a lego piece or something fell down there.

I'm considering placing a cover panel over the entire ceiling or some type of molding on the sides to cover the gap.

How would you have done it?
