Installing construction plywood and drywall and making holes for pipes
I am building a bathroom and the plumber has just been here. Now I need to put up all the boards (construction plywood and plasterboards) and must drill holes in the boards for pipe installation with as much precision as possible. What is the best way to do this? Are there any clever tricks, or is it simply a matter of careful measurement with a tape measure? Grateful for any tips.

Tape measure and accuracy are good. An alternative is a cross laser that you align on the center of the pipe without the board, and then place the board and cut.gryden said:

The problem is that I can't place the sheet because the pipes stick out so much. But... the wall is open from the back, and the pipes are attached with snap fasteners, so I might be able to loosen the snap fasteners, place the sheet, and mark the center from behind through the metal sheet where the fixture is attached. That should be relatively smooth.N Nikorasu said:
