Deck screws for screwing into wooden studs indoors?

Is it okay to use decking screws for securing studs for things like interior walls if you're connecting wood to wood? And for all other types of screwing used to attach wood studs to other wood materials?

Answer yes. Obviously, if the screw is suitable for outdoor use, it should also suffice indoors. However, you don't need the same rust protection for screws indoors. And then it becomes cheaper.

Deck screws can be used, but for construction, I usually prefer slightly heavier-duty screws and with a slightly larger head.

Agree with AndersS about the dimension. Deck screws are way too weak to hold joists. Can recommend Biltema's 5x80-100 Torx screws which are really affordable and very strong.

Ok so it is preferable to have screws that are at least 50 thick?

You probably mean 5mm Yep, I use 5-6 mm and then the usual lengths I use are between 70-120mm.

I have screwed most of my house construction using screws from Biltema, and haven't encountered any problems at all.

It's probably one of the few products Biltema sells that isn't junk. However, they did manage to mess up the old smart paper packaging for the same screw. The screw itself is top quality.

Yes, you can use them. But when you reach these dimensions, the price usually becomes significantly higher, double or maybe more, than for ordinary screws for indoor use, and the ones you usually have lying around tend to be deck screws 4.2-4.5
I often use 6mm for frameworks and usually at lengths over 90mm, maybe it's overdimensioned, but it holds well

Have bought a lot of Essbox now that I need to fill with screws.

I have been recommended to buy Biltema screws, and it doesn't sound like a bad idea. But I also found these screws:

Does anyone have any experience or opinions about them?

Need suggestions on which screws are good to have at home for outfitting an upper floor. Mount ceiling/floor joists, inner walls, and all other carpentry work needed to outfit an upper floor that's just insulated

Biltema has very good stuff. If the dimension is correct, it works fine. Both Biltema and Byggmax usually have good prices. Just check online.
