Considering getting so-called Thermowood from the brand Kärnsund. It is pine that is heat-treated. For the deck in the basement. The price seems to vary quite a bit. Between 60 SEK per meter I thought I saw up to 144 SEK per meter.
How can it differ so much, or did I see wrong? I have checked at Byggmax and Byggahemna.
And is this a recommended product?

Is there anyone who can take pity on my question about Thermowood? Now I've answered a lot of other questions in the forum!P PerOF said:Considering getting so-called Thermowood from the brand Kärnsund. It's pine that is heat-treated. For the deck in the basement. Only seen and felt the samples.
It will surely work just fine in the basement.
But my advice is to buy from a real building store instead.
The price likely varies so much because it is difficult to set a price per meter due to all the additional costs that arise when the building store needs to order it for you. For example, shipping, packaging, and splitting fees are often fixed costs that are not significantly affected whether you buy 100 meters or 1000.
