Custom-sawn pine planks?
To extinguish the small fire that occurred a week ago, the firefighters had to saw through our old pine floor.
Now we obviously want to lay new wood there, but as you know, different measurements were used back in the day...
We are therefore looking for tongue-and-groove pine planks with dimensions 108 x 28 mm - new or old.
Either you find something on Blocket or Byggigen, but that will take time - so I'm wondering if ANYONE out there has good contacts with a sawmill that can custom cut about 40 meters for us...
///slightly desperate.

We laid a new floor next to an old floor and did it like this:
The new floor was slightly thinner, so we shimmed the joists with strips of masonite. Then we routed the groove to fit the tongue of the other floor type. After that, it was just a matter of snapping it in place. You might want to sand down the new floor a bit afterwards if it's too high.
Laying new board next to new board is not much of a problem...
Good luck!!
EDIT
linear meter, square meter... It's hard with the terminology in this industry... :-[

Sure, but with a better chosen thread title, there's a greater chance of getting good responses. When I read "Specially sawed pine plank," planed, tongue-and-groove 108*28 boards aren't the first thing that come to mind. I imagined roughly two-inch-thick wedge-shaped planks 20-40 cm wide, maybe with loose tongue....MathiasS said:
In this case, the thread creator probably thought they had plank flooring, so it was more of an "unfortunately chosen title." However, for everyone else with a specific question who still chooses titles like "Let's start," "I just have to," "How do you do it," "How do you usually do it" just because they might start threads like this daily in various "chitchat forums," it's perhaps not the best way to get adequate responses here!
*tensed anticipation for what MathiaS will counter with* ;D
Eh, whatever, I actually agree but just want to argue a bit.Haagbard said:Sure, but with a better chosen title for the thread, the chances of getting good responses are greater. Where's that Fasting65? I've got BOARDS waiting for a new home.
How much should he pay? You can't just give away such fine "brälappar," can you? Bidding until F65 shows up - the longer he takes, the more expensive it gets..... ;D
Oh my, it's been lively here as I've been working hard on the house (I've taken Mondays off work to be able to build in peace for a whole day each week).
First, I must apologize for my somewhat sloppy building terminology.
Anyway, back to the topic...
I spent Monday with two phones in each ear to coordinate the cleaning company, the electrician who will restore the electrical panel, the insulation company (abis, ekofiber), while also visiting Fredells and checking out Kungsäter's Adderadörrar, but before that, I went to several blacksmiths to request prices on wrought iron fencing. I also managed to pass by Lundell&Zetterberg to ask for prices on AJ door handles.
On the way home, I went by a carpentry workshop according to Jureit's recommendations. The carpenter was supposed to get back to me with a price—somewhat puzzled that there isn't anything ready-made in the store.
I also went to the lumberyard and found out that there is paneling that is 28 mm x 120 mm—including the tongue.
The covering surface is 110 mm, and it will probably shrink by 2 mm—which will be perfect as a replacement. It costs just under 20 SEK/meter.
I took a sample piece home and compared—spot on!
...so MathiasS, your boards are used, dirty, and probably warped—shall we say 18 SEK/meter? 8)
ps. Apparently, they often used spruce as flooring before—fewer black and large knots.

This is really amusing....Fasting65 said:Oh my, it's been lively here while I've been working hard on the house (I've taken leave on Mondays to be able to build in peace for a whole day each week).

I spent Monday with two phones implanted in each ear to coordinate the cleaning company, the electrician who is going to restore the power center, the insulation company (abis, ekofiber), while I was at Fredells checking Kungsäters Adderadoors, and before that, I went to several blacksmiths to request quotes on wrought iron fences. I also managed to visit Lundell&Zetterberg to request a price on AJ door handles.

My boards are used. They've been lying flat on the floor since 1947. They won't shrink, they aren't warped, the tongue and groove are intact. You can't buy straighter boards at any lumber yard - these are straighter than my aluminum level....:=)
I can have them delivered to you as well - you live just 5 minutes away - on the wrong side of the highway....
If you pay 18 SEK per meter for warped, dirty boards, what would you offer for FINE boards? 8)
PM me and we'll sort something out, this is the same dimension you already have on the joists (isn't it an old boro house - same manufacturer as mine) so it's easier than laying new ones that will warp and shrink....
MathiasS: It's not entirely impossible that we can reach an agreement. Have sent a PM.
Our house is not a Borohus... but the houses are probably quite similar anyway.
"wrong side of the highway"?! - time for a mudslinging war over the exhaust ditch?!

You live in Mälarhöjden, I live in Herrängen.....Fasting65 said:
No pie-throwing, Mälarhöjden is also home turf. I grew up in Herrängen but my grandmother and grandfather lived near the cinema, I believe the street is called Mälarhöjdsvägen...
