Hello, I need to soundproof an exterior wall that transmits sound from a living area to an office. In the office, I'm thinking of building a wall on the exterior wall and filling it with insulation, with an air gap against the exterior wall.

But I am concerned that the exterior wall will become cold and condensation might form on its inside. In that case, you want to ventilate it, but that's directly contrary to soundproofing.

The question is, is it a bad idea to place an underfloor heating loop between the walls to keep a bit of warmth in the exterior wall?

And then the question of ventilation. I have the option to connect the mechanical exhaust to the wall so that it pulls a bit and ventilates that way. Or I can drill a hole in the façade and install a fan there for ventilation. Air supply for that then? I have ground insulation under the floor, which lets in some odor in the office. So I would like to draw from the floor, up into the wall, and out either directly with a fan, or through the ventilation. But I'm a bit nervous about pulling damp air from the office down into the floor and out into the wall.

Has anyone managed to solve a similar problem? Grateful for tips.
