Started plastering an interior wall with Leca yesterday, but it went "so-so". I think I made the Fine Plaster C mix a bit too loose, as it shifted downwards. I had to regularly scrape off the excess at the bottom of the wall.

The thickness of the surface to be plastered is about 1-1.5 cm. What's the best way to succeed? Should I, for example, plaster multiple times and if so, how long should I wait before the next plastering? Is mesh needed?

Both Weber and Finja have good work descriptions, and there is also information about layer thickness per application specified. Have you read these?

You're applying it too thick if you're trying to cover 15mm with fine mortar. Use plaster mesh, then possibly red primer and plaster with Plaster Mortar C at 3mm, and if you want it extra smooth, finish with a 1mm layer.

I have been reading on Finja's website now. For walls below ground level, they recommend Murcement A, but I have used Cementa's Murcement. But maybe it's the same thing? Otherwise, they recommend Grundningsbruk A on lecablock, if I understood it correctly. But part of the surface will be below ground level. Plaster with Murcement A on the outside, tar, and Pordrän boards.

Yes, I agree it was too thick. What should I do about the small section I've already plastered with Putsbruk C? Should have used some netting.

I plan to tile the interior wall later.

Does red primer work below ground level?

Have heard from you here and two other players in the industry and gotten.... 3 (!!) different answers.:rofl:
Oh well, I'll go with one of the answers. See what my dad has done and it still holds, and the build is from -56.

Use with Grundning Röd. But the problem is that I've already started with "regular" cement mixed with sand on certain areas. The render doesn't stick completely.

But I was thinking of applying Grundning Röd on this concrete before rendering. Or do you have any other tips?

Have chipped away quite a bit of the areas where the plaster didn't adhere. It adhered the worst on the "Mur- och Putsbruket".

Areas with pure cement hold great, but from what I understand, it's difficult to get a proper grip on this with fine plaster. Is there no adhesion improver for this surface before the plaster mortar?
