If you wanted to lower the basement floor, what is the correct procedure and is it safe to dig down and place the floor at the red line?
Should you insulate and if so how much underneath?
Is it sensible to do one room at a time or should you do it all at once?
If one were to outsource it, is it possible to estimate the price (approximately)?

I would prefer to lower the floor about 30cm to have more space down there, the basement is not to be converted into living space so it doesn't need more insulation than today because of this, but perhaps it's smart to lay something if you're going to dig anyway.
