Need a bit more insulation in the floor, a terrace I enclosed. Can't do it from the underside and wonder if it's possible to do from above with cellplast? Can build up a maximum of 10 cm. Is it possible? Can you lay flooring directly on the cellplast?

Remove the floor and raise the studs.

Unfortunately not an option.

it works to lay flooring on, depending on the load. so it can cause creaking in the floor

Received information that EPS S100 should be able to handle laying a floating floor. Does anyone have experience with this?

I imagine there is some risk of creaking in the joints, so maybe vinyl click is a good alternative to wooden flooring?

Father-in-law's house built in the 70s (or early 80s) has a slab on the ground, foam plastic as insulation on top, and finally flooring. There haven't been any problems as far as I understand.

Plastic flooring in large parts. I think there's chipboard there too.

How do you mean that the product would take longer?
