During a slipcasting, we managed to block a flue to a fireplace, (yeah yeah Clumsy:geek:) so we dug it up and fixed the blockage. Now that it needs to go back, I'm wondering how to deal with the last brick.

I didn't want to fuss with the last brick, so I cast it in place at the top, but how do you insert a brick and fill the gaps around it? I was thinking maybe a metal sheet behind and then injecting the mortar, or what's the best way to do it?

The chimney sweep said at least it's sealed:rofl:
