Hello!
I'm about to start erecting the frame for our sunroom and, to my dismay, I've discovered that the plaster facade is quite uneven. The pillar next to the facade has a gap of 5-6 cm at the top when leveled. The question is what the best solution is for this to make it look nice in the end. I've ruled out the options of milling away the plaster where it's too thick (at the bottom), or notching the glued laminated timber, as it has a centered rod bolt (center measurement 5.75 cm) to align it with the facade, in the same way along the pillar's direction.
I was thinking of filling the gap with a custom-cut timber piece, placing it on the rafter nearest to the facade (gable roof) and tracing and splitting it. However, other suggestions are very welcome. How do I finish this off nicely to hide it in the final result? Sheet metal/other solution?
