Hello!
I have had a new floor poured in my basement. I'm going to put up a couple of interior walls, and since there's underfloor heating in the slab, I don't want to drill into it. So I thought of gluing a steel track with PL400 as a "sill."
The floor is only leveled, not polished. But it's even and nice. The guy who poured it said it's okay to tile directly on it, so that's what I plan to do. There shouldn't be any load on the tiles in that direction anyway.
But do I need to sand off the concrete skin before gluing the track? There might be some load if someone kicks the wall or something. Maybe it's just as well to run over it with a diamond blade? I'd preferably avoid extra work if it's not necessary.
