Hello,

I have double ceiling drywall with screws in the studs and now have the last piece to be set.
There is a missing piece of stud in the middle of the drywall due to a pipe behind it that I can't screw into.

To supplement, I thought I would throw on some glue, and then screw where possible (which is quite a bit). The piece is about 200cm x 30cm.

Question: What is most suitable for glue?

I guess regular wood glue is not preferable :)?
Would contact adhesive work, for example: http://www.biltema.se/sv/Bygg/Kemikalier/Lim/Kontaktlim-2000029968/

If it's cardboard gypsum, regular wood glue works just fine.

Thank you Robo, it became quite clear when I looked under the sheet what you meant :)

But for history:
the sheet was "Normal 13 (Type A) 1200 x 2500" and has paper underneath.
I'm using wood glue so we'll see where we end up ;)
