Need some help regarding fire protection and garage.

I have spoken with my insurance company and they suggest building according to EI60, and according to them, it should be enough to use 2x13 mm gypsum, alternatively osb+gypsum, but I'm a bit unsure if this is correct. I have also read that one can choose 15 mm fire-protected gypsum, but does this meet EI60?

We actually wish to have visible load-bearing beams as the ceiling, but according to EI60, we must have a gypsum ceiling, and to avoid having to plaster and paint everything, I wanted to ask if there are any nice ceiling tiles that meet the requirements instead?

We will have two cars in the garage and also a charger for the future, alongside there is also a tractor, but no animals.

There are Cement-based boards, minerit, cemberit, etc. For both roof and wall. Chamfered edges so just paint. Using this in my garage.

If you're just going to use it as a garage, then el60 can hardly be required. If they've misunderstood that it should be a workshop for hot work, then I can understand it.

Thanks, I will take a look at them!
Would be perfect if I could avoid plastering everything.

I can't answer that, the man I spoke to knows the conditions, no animals and only cars to be in the garage, but still says they want it to comply with ei60.

So now I just want to get away with a little less work, in this case the filling as there will be quite a bit in an 80 sq.m garage with gypsum ceiling.

That's quite a lot of work. I would have asked for some reference to the insurance terms. He could very well have misunderstood that.

Yes, it's some work and of course an extra cost but I must have tiles on the wall and it must be painted otherwise it will be dark, if I can then find alternative tiles to plaster so I don't have to fill all the seams I save a lot of time.

Once again, what do the insurance terms say?

You mention additional work, etc., and want to avoid it.

So first read the insurance terms...
