Anchor wardrobe that isn't flush against wall
White-painted 45x95mm wooden stud lying between the closet and the wall at the top? Alternatively, a standing one from the floor up?
An angle iron on the top maybe as a quick solution?
Is the back wall "flush against" (without gap) the wall next to the front door? Change it if so. Otherwise, a protruding white-painted board screwed at the back "roof" of the wardrobe with a furniture bracket that is screwed to the wall to the left of the wardrobe.
No, there is nothing for the wardrobe to lean against at all. We would like to avoid placing the wardrobe near the window to still allow some light in.D doubleH said:
Please explain more about what you're thinking with the board.
You'll need to try to find an angle bracket that is long enough. But even then, I don't think the wardrobe will be good as Ikea's wardrobes, like many others, need to be fixed stably to the wall so they don’t become wobbly.N NathalieH said:
Can't you just remove the radiator if you’re not going to use it? That way you’ll also avoid the dust trap behind the wardrobe.
Live in a condominium and don't have permission to remove the radiator.Cheesen said:
