Fill a large hole in the wall
Hello,
Tore off the wallpaper in the kitchen to paint the wall, and a piece came off the wall; it was about 5mm thin.
The previous owner renovated the bathroom, and the boxes you see are for the light switches in the bathroom on the other side of the wall.
What is the cheapest way to fill the hole, using any of these Byggmax plaster and mortar?

Thanks in advance

Ardex 828 is not in stock at the nearest Beijerbygg, is there anything else I can use instead?
I was thinking of using husfix but maybe it can't fill such deep holes directly, then it would require several rounds of filling.
Thanks in advance

Is plaster render and plaster mortar the same thing? I can't find the answer when I google it.
Will this one, which is the cheapest I found, work to fill the hole directly with several cm thick layers?

Yes, it's the same thing.E evoline said:
I've done similar work on my house with both Webers Gypsum (From Beijer) or with Norgips / Combimix's gypsum plaster from Bauhaus. Both have worked equally well.
Good luck.
PS. Check that you don't get an ancient bag that has become damp or been poorly stored. There should be a date on the bag.
skip gypsum plaster and gypsum mortar. use some filler I recommend.E evoline said:
May I ask why? I'm genuinely curious.SBH said:
When I first started renovating our stone house from the 50s, I used cement-based fillers and regular cement-based mortar, but it was quite tricky and difficult to get right, and it became rock-hard and cracked against the existing plaster.
(It could be my fault... but still)
Then, by chance, I saw a craftsman fill a former shaft with Weber's gypsum and saw how smooth it seemed.
After that, I tried it myself, and I would say the result is as good as with the cement-based mortars but with the advantage that everything is a bit easier to work with.
A few years later, I've used hundreds of kilos of gypsum plaster in the house and haven't found any problems, but I haven't left the surface exposed... is that the difference?
Weber Wall Putty 0-100 is also not available in store at Beijerbygg or K-rauta right now.
Is there anything else available at Bauhaus, Byggmax, or K-rauta, those are the closest stores I have?
Thanks in advance

Oh, isn't 5kg enough for the small hole?
Could you link the product, I can't find it when I search on my mobile.
I was thinking of this one first, so I can buy today instead of waiting to get home on Monday.
