We plan to use 120x45 beams for the top beams. There will be an outer frame and an additional three top beams, a total of five. There will not be any weight on the pergola.

With C 24 quality, the maximum deflection will be 3 mm, which is quite OK in this context. Visible joist hangers are not aesthetically pleasing. Consider another solution.
