Planning to build a loft.
Attached is a picture of how it looks now.
It's a bit narrow in width for fitting a bed.
The idea is to make the slanted beams vertical. The roof is made of metal.
There is about 2m in width between the upper attachments in the trusses, making them vertical would allow a bed to fit easily.
I was thinking of using about 50% of the floor as a sleeping loft and leaving the rest open to the ridge.
The total floor area today is about 7x4m, so around 3.5x4m would be loft and the rest open to the ridge.
Under the intended loft area is a bathroom with framed walls that provide some support.
I instinctively feel that it would be possible, what do you think?
