Is there anyone here with experience in cell glass foundations? I plan to build new, but I don't want to use plastic or concrete. The ground is perfect, I think, on a sand ridge.

Try searching for skumglas and hasopor, I think you'll find some different hits on the forum.
Check the price before you think too much.

But sure, then hasopor is in bulk, it's not really the cellplast. So it's probably appropriate to compare quotes in the end.

The gravel has a reasonable price, but if you were thinking of using blocks, that's a whole different thing.
Not the koljern. I am planning to place a wooden house on three layers of cellular glass slabs with a frame of glulam and with floor joists inside. All ground insulation of cellular glass, even between the floor joists. Has anyone built or heard of such a construction?
