I have searched and seen some threads that discuss tools and quality in comparison Biltema / "quality tools". But the following is not addressed:

Does anyone have comments about Biltema's screws, (plasterboard, chipboard, etc.) and nails?

Grateful to share your life wisdom! ;D

You get what you pay for. But they are clearly acceptable.

Agree regarding the decking screw. Then it might be worth investing in a brand like grabber.

I use both plasterboard and chipboard screws from Biltema and it works well. Sometimes I also get a carton or two from Byggmax.

I haven't noticed any issues with the galvanized nails at Biltema either.

Agree with the previous post. I think the screw for construction fittings is very good, especially considering the price.

Check out Silvan. I went to Biltema to get such screws, but the shelf was empty. However, I thought it was only temporary. Went to Silvan and found the same Torx 20 screws for the same price. 250 pieces for 40:-. Completely OK.

Biltema's decking screws are really great. Unlike many others, they are truly stainless, and you can also unscrew them without them breaking and causing trouble. The secret is to use fresh bits; otherwise, it's easy for the cross slot to get stripped...

Overall, I think Biltema's screws are quite OK, but for larger/longer dimensions, I buy Jetting at AKB.

Decking screws, chipboard screws, drywall screws - Absolutely worth the price!!!

I can also recommend the bits sold in packs of 5 or 6, can't remember how many. They're really great! Can easily be compared to much more expensive bits.

Everything related to tiling is also good, mixers/whisks, putty knives, notched trowels, adhesives, grout.
There's a lot at Biltema that's excellent! However, not car parts :-/

Yep, real bit holder + bits from Biltema. Costs nothing, the bits. You can drop the bits without getting ruined, you can let the wife (Sveno-warning) use the screwdriver without getting ruined - just toss the worn-out bits and take a new one. The bits also maintain the correct measurements so there's no problem on that front.

Yep, proper bit holder + bits from Biltema.
Regarding bits, I thought I was smart when I previously bought them in a 10-pack for a few bucks until I tried a properly hardened one that lasted much longer than ten of the low-price variants. It's also not worth skimping on quality for bit holders. The magnet is what differs the most. With a proper magnet, you can pick up a whole bunch of screws by dipping the bit in the screw package, while a trash bit holder can't even keep a screw in place.

It's always more enjoyable to work with good tools.

Biltema has double-ended bits (one on each end) in a 10-pack in a nice holder. These are pure junk (even though they cost 22:90, I believe). Several broke (twisted off) when tightening the first screw. The screw from Biltema is also, in my opinion, perfectly fine.

Now it was tempting to tell how others in the house, besides me, do when they need to put something up, but I will refrain. I can at least reveal that I'm allowed to have my lousy screwdriver to myself. However, some table knives look a bit strange...

:-X ::)

I bought cheap gold-colored assorted screws at Harald Nyborg. They weren't just bad, they were incredibly worthless!! We have several of these stripped screws in our house, especially in the kitchen. Even with an ordinary screwdriver, it was a piece of cake to strip the head. SO ANNOYING IT WAS!!! You have your well-planned time ::) set aside to do certain things, and then you have to spend all your effort dealing with stripped screws!

Unfortunately, they were very accommodating and understanding in the store, and there was no problem getting the money back. I say unfortunately because I needed to let out some anger.

Oh well, I learned something new anyway.

Um... So when you hammer in picture nails (or other nails to hang things) straight, even if preferably a bit downward due to being short.
