I'm feeling a bit of concern in the middle of my summer basement plastering work, which I hope you can help me with. After going through some threads here and doing a lot of reading, I started plastering the basement wall with C-putz, assuming the substrate wasn't lime plaster. Now that I've started the work and plastered a bit, I'm not sure if this was the right choice.

As I understand it, I shouldn't apply a harder plaster on the outside because there's a risk of detachment, but what's on the wall? My guess now is that it's C-putz, as it looks exactly the same as the C-putz I've used when I chip off a piece, but you know better than I do.

Regardless, how would you proceed here? Continue with C-putz or switch to a softer lime plaster?

Here is a piece of C-puts that I broke off. To me, it looks exactly the same as what was on the wall.
