Hello,
I have a plastered house where the plaster is attached to a plasterboard. Behind the plasterboard, there are two joined 45x300 Kerto beams (a total of 90 mm thick). Does anyone have experience attaching awnings to Kerto? Can the beam handle it? I'm considering an awning with about a 3 m projection. If yes, what type of screw/fastener would you use?
Best regards,
Peter

Hi Marcus,
I actually called Moelven, who manufactured my kertobalkar, and they said there shouldn't be any problems. So now I've installed an awning that is holding up so far. It's important to attach through the lamellas - not along them - if you know what I mean...
I used long lag screws.
