What do you think about this wall? Vertical planks, approximately 45x90 mm not tongue and grooved. Quite flimsy. It stands on a horizontal beam across the floor joists. Difficult to see how it looks at the top.
The house was built in 1929 and has a mansard roof.
Old wooden wall with vertical planks, partially exposed, showing wear and tear. A doorway leads to a lit room. Built in 1929 with mansard roof.

Most of the wall will be removed to make a more practical closet than the cramped attic crawl space. Starting with a horizontal cut to see if it catches anything.

The wall in my house (1925) was not load-bearing. Doesn't have to mean the same for you, of course.

Now it is gone anyway. The majority was only attached to the roof decking at the top and hung more or less loosely, so I find it hard to believe it's supporting anything essential.
