Hi.

I am going to install acoustic panels on my basement wall and would like tips on which battens to use for the air gap. I initially thought of metal battens, but they are a bit uneven so I wanted to use casing screws for easy adjustment. Composite... but it's quite expensive, and I haven't found good dimensions today. Or do I dare to use wood with a strip behind since the panel isn't sealed? Thanks in advance.

Can't you place metal washers closest to the outer wall as spacers in a wall screw behind a metal profile?
