Bought a used window where the previous owner decided to cut the frame screw with a reciprocating saw.

I've removed the screw itself but the sleeve refuses to come out.

Can the sleeve be reused with some new type of window frame screw, or is drilling new holes and installing new frame screws the solution?

Answering myself in case anyone else encounters the same problem. Found screws at Hornbach - see image.

The screws are meant for a different type of loose frame sleeves, you won't be able to adjust the window with them, you should probably shim behind each attachment point instead. A hexagonal socket screw for use with loose frame sleeves, labeled "ESSVE.

There you go, thanks for the info. However, I can report that they serve the function "keep window in place" even in the old sleeve. (y)

You have bought the right screws for the hylsor.
If the window needs to be adjusted later, you slightly loosen the screw, then adjust with the hylsan and finally tighten the screw again.
