Hi, I'm planning to replace a couple of completely rotten 75x225 mm floor joists in an old house. It seems like 75x225 mm beams are no longer available, but I got a tip that 66x225 mm glulam beams are a suitable alternative.

I need two 4-meter beams, but unfortunately, I can't find any in the Kungälv/Gothenburg area. There seems to be some kind of glulam crisis now during the pandemic. Does anyone know if it's possible to get some somewhere now, preferably before my vacation is over? :D

One alternative is, of course, to go overkill with 90x225 glulam, but it's so incredibly heavy and unmanageable in the crawlspace (and it seems to be out of stock right now as well).

An alternative might be to nail-glue together two regular 45x220 C24 studs to create a stud that should at least be comparably strong to the old 75x225 studs. Hmm relatively cheap compared to glulam it would be as well...
