Hello!

Does anyone have tips on how I should proceed when wall-mounting these wall speakers on the wall? (https://www.jamo.com/products/graphic) There is a hole to hang on a screw on the back of them. What kind of screw should I use? I'm worried that the weight of the speakers will make it impossible to hang them on the wall.

Type of screw/fastener depends on the wall type (gypsum/concrete etc).

It is a regular wooden wall with studs.

OK, if you are sure it is a wooden wall and not a drywall, then use the largest wood screw that fits in the speaker's hole.
You will get the best support if you can screw into the wall stud.

Can't they be built in? Otherwise, there are other nice speakers made for wall/ceiling mounting from, for example, B&W/Dali at Hifi-klubben. With Dali, for instance, you make a cutout in the wall and attach the speaker with what are called doglegs on the frame itself.

But if you want to hang these on the surface of the wall, a coarse screw should suffice, provided there is something to screw into behind. I don't believe in using drywall anchors or such (if the wall is made solely of drywall) because the speakers will vibrate, which may cause the drywall to eventually come loose.

In that case, there is no problem if it is vertical plank or equivalent. A wood screw with dimensions of 5-6 mm and 50-80 mm into the wall can securely hold 60-70 kg, maybe much more depending on circumstances. Use one with the right type of head that fits well in combination with the hole on the back of the speaker.
