Hello!
I have just installed a jape vent floor and then styrofoam as well as a parquet floor over a 32 sqm area in the basement.
Now I’m going to install ventilated baseboards and have some questions. The ones I found on the market have grooves so that it breathes behind, but they are made of wood, so there will be wood in contact with the basement wall, which doesn't feel optimal. The old baseboards were regular ones that were mounted with metal spacers (regular washers) and after 50 years they were still fresh.
Do you have any tips on what is best to do?
