I have attached all my flex hoses with Jula's clips "Anslut". I recently noticed that one had broken and thought it was because I had accidentally yanked the hose. But then I started to look around, and everywhere I have clipped, the clips are cracked... In some places, the hoses are hanging loose because the clips have completely broken off without me touching them.

Lucky I haven't closed up the walls or ceilings yet (just insulated). Now I just have to start replacing 5-600 clips...

Does anyone have tips on how to proceed with my complaint? I certainly don't want a bunch of new boxes of bad clips. How can one be compensated for something like this? (really, one shouldn't expect compensation when buying and building with cheap junk)

I sympathize with those who have already built it in.

A broken plastic clamp on a gray flex conduit mounted on a wooden surface, showing a screw and partially detached clamp.

Box of "Anslut" screw clamps, 100 pieces, 18-22 mm, on a wooden surface near a window.

But what a mess...
I've fallen for the Anslut trap several times myself. I think it probably works just as well as real brands. But most often, I'm disappointed.
But this is on another level entirely... Feels like it's a material defect, they're too old, or stored incorrectly....
Unfortunately, I don't think Jula will replace anything other than the cost of the staples... You'll have to cover the labor time yourself. But it might be worth a try, maybe you can get something extra for the trouble.
Jula usually isn't picky when it comes to complaints, I've never experienced them requiring you to take the same item again, they've always given me credit or cash.

Really frustrating, but good thing you noticed it before the boards went on....

Best regards,

Stefan

A completely different matter, but the same brand. My electrician advises everyone against buying electrical gadgets of the brand Anslut. These are of such poor quality that they can be dangerous.

Use nails (60mm) that you bend with some caution so as not to pinch the hose.

Those clamps would probably have cracked in the same way in 5 or 10 years, even if they were of better quality.

The thing is that the bracket was purchased on three different occasions with certainly 3–4 months in between, so it doesn't seem to be about a faulty batch. Guaranteed crap all the way through. The problem is that I've insulated, so I have to remove all the insulation, replace the brackets, and then put everything back. Surely no more than three days of delightful full-time work when you have a thousand other things to do. Damn, I'm so tired of both Jula's crap and myself.

Right now it feels like I want to bring in a handyman to replace all the brackets and then send the bill to Jula...

I think it's more certain that it's Jula's CEO who should come here and bend the nail :)

What does it matter if the clamp goes broken behind the insulation?????

It does quite a bit since I haven't even pulled the FK yet. I'm not planning to build in crap for posterity.

Jula had connection outlets super cheap, like 19:- (double, recessed grounded) a while ago, I bought one to try and thought if it seemed OK maybe I'd buy some more and put them in "invisible" places where I won't connect equipment so frequently.

But it was really crappy. You almost need a hammer to get a plug in!
And the connection terminals also felt quite substandard.

And I don't dismiss gadgets just because they come from questionable places or are cheap.
I did the exact same thing with an outlet I found at Lidl. And that outlet was great, just the right feel when you plug in and remove the plug and very pleasant and easy-to-use quick connections. But when I returned to buy a few more (to have in inconspicuous, less important places), they were, of course, sold out.

Then I bought staples from an electrical store that were really not good. Not quite as lousy as your connections, only two have broken like yours, but there was no "spring" in them. They don't really clamp properly.

Were they single outlets packaged four in a box? (I bought some of those at Lidl but haven't tried them yet)

Could it be Jula's clips with nails that have done the same thing for me, all have cracked in the same way, half remains on the cable and half in the wall with the nail. It's probably Anslut crap. I have also bought at Biltema, so I don't know which ones have broken. Does anyone have experience with Biltema's Clips?

Bend a three-inch nail around the hose, then it's guaranteed to stay. It won't get better with clamps.

Sounds like it.
They had a slightly special frame, as it was sent with both a double frame and a single frame to choose from.

I used nail clips, so it definitely wasn't that one.
But I think it was a different brand too.
