What to glue laminate flooring to WALL with?
I need to glue quite a lot of laminate flooring to a painted wall in the garage. I've done it before with PL400. It holds, but it's quite expensive.
Is there anything else a bit cheaper?
I used to do it as follows.
A few dabs of PL400 and some hot glue against the wall. The hot glue attached the laminate directly. Then the PL400 cured permanently. Since just hot glue usually comes off after some time.
What is available today that is a bit cheaper and almost as good as PL400?

Optional mounting adhesive with a short bonding time.
This one seems to have the right properties, 25:- cheaper.

This one is cheaper, but the specs are unclear. With the hot melt glue model, it should work fine.

I just did it. Used PL600. There's also construction adhesive at Byggmax for 45kr.
However, our laminate was a bit "cheaper" and you need to tap them together a little. That's why I chose to use PL600 so I know it holds, also used a nail gun at the edges where the trim covers.

After "building" a planting box this summer using Biltema's stone adhesive, I now use it for most things that need gluing at home. The stone adhesive is polyurethane-based and dries quickly, and with their applicator gun, it is very convenient to work with; 1 bottle yields 50-50 liters of foam. It doesn't expand nearly as much as regular expanding foam, but you need something to hold it in place while it dries. http://www.biltema.se/sv/Bygg/Kemikalier/Lim/Stenlim-2000029972/

I think hot glue is useless for everything but maybe I'm too slow?
Why not double-sided tape?
