Tear down a couple of wall studs. Load-bearing?
Hello!
I would like an opening in this wall. The wall currently ends with a triple rule/post that supports a glulam beam. This post and beam will remain as they definitely have a load-bearing function.
But the two vertical single studs to the right have nothing to do with the glulam beam. The question is whether they might still have a load-bearing role?
If I remove the two studs, the distance between the triple post and the next stud will be about 140cm.
What do you all think?

The glulam beam suggests that loads need to be taken up from the floor/roof in that line. If there is no other wall or beam in the same line or anything above that suggests reinforcement is only needed where the beam is, I would guess that the wall is load-bearing.
