Hello. I'm at home thinking about how to finish a 45x45 wall in the best way. As rigid as possible but of course not too expensive. We're talking about 200m2 of basement wall. The wall is currently metal sheeting and metal studs. No, I can't increase the dimensions or choose another material as it's a basement floor with specific requirements and the room size can't be changed further. How about c/c 30, 15mm plywood, and 12mm gypsum on that. Is c/c 30 too much if I'm going to use 15mm plywood? The wall should be as stiff as possible. What are your thoughts and opinions on this?

Thanks a lot!GoForIt said:
Not really more than the feeling of sturdiness. I don't want a wobbly wall. Yes, it seems like c/c 30 uses unnecessarily many studs perhaps. Has anyone made walls in both ways? Is there any noticeable difference?
