I was thinking of framing a wall in a basement with steel studs. At Byggmax, there is a regular steel track used for floors and a sound track with polyethylene plastic underneath.
Which one should I use in a basement?
I'm thinking that the one with plastic/foam underneath might be better considering moisture, etc...

The plastic does not provide any moisture protection in this case since the rail is made of metal.

I understand.
Which one would you have taken, with or without?

The cheapest, it should not be a big disadvantage IF it has plastic underneath.

I used the ones with polyethylene underneath, felt smoother to mount against concrete. I don't recall any price difference, or at least not a significant one.
