Hello,

Quick responses desired, I have craftsmen on site and incoming this week.

House from 1945, split-level with basement and living floor. On the living floor, we are going to pour EPS to then be able to self-level and finally lay tiles in the ice hall and bathroom.

I have removed the wood shavings between the floor joists. The tiler said I should wrap everything with plastic. It's done.
But the plumber pointed out today that there is a risk of trapped moisture when the waterproofing layer is applied in the bathroom later.

What does the expertise say? Should I use something other than diffusion-tight plastic?

Help, please!

thanks!

it all ended with me finding very good information on gvk’s website. It states that it should NOT be age-resistant plastic. So I went and bought "thinner and non-age-resistant plastic" and redid everything.
