Hello!
Raising a question in case it turns out that the intermediate floor in our townhouse is moldy as we have had rain in the facade. Another neighbor discovered this in their home. We have not checked this in ours.
How expensive and feasible is this? Townhouse, 130 sqm. Two floors, not split-level. This concerns the floor between the first and second floors.

The mid joist layer, the outermost rule against the facade seems to be rotten, as the facade was likely poorly constructed.Jonatan79 said:
Do you replace it then? The facade obviously needs to be redone to stop it, considering how it looks.
Don't worry. If any part is rotten, that part will be replaced. If something that is load-bearing is removed, you have to put up a prop to support parts of the floor structure so it doesn't sag. The biggest problem would then be the damage to the ceiling.
That's great. Appreciate the info. Now I can sleep a little better tonight!J Johan456 said:
