Hello!
I'm going to renovate our bedroom and because of the work it was to tear down the same textured wallpaper in the living room, renovation plasterboard is the only option. After doing some reading, I still haven't found any rock-solid tips for putting up the boards. It's not a very strong texture but still 1-2 mm in height difference.

Therefore, I thought I would try to hit the studs with screws as much as possible, and also use some kind of adhesive to keep the boards in place. For textured wallpaper on plaster, what is preferable, plaster mortar, tile adhesive, or installation glue?

Tear down the old plaster instead and put up new.

Hmm, I was considering that too, but I got slightly nauseous when I thought about all the dust and mess with tearing it out. But sure, once all the old boards are down, it's the same work...

Considering that I don't care that it builds 6mm, there's really no real reason to do that heavy work.

Renovation wallpaper maybe? I used that on our textured wallpaper with good results.

Too coarse a texture for renovation wallpaper. Or perhaps not really when I read around, but I have used easy cover before on fiberglass wall and then it was just barely not visible through, in my opinion, this is still a slightly coarser texture.
