Removed a worn older kitchen in an apartment. Behind it, the brick wall is damaged with several fairly large holes.

I assume putty won't do, which product should be used instead? And is it something an amateur can fix?

I've also removed a threshold to the kitchen between stone and concrete floor leaving a hole about 10cm deep, 10cm wide, and 80cm long. How and with what do you best fill this (a new light frame wall will be built on top)? The wall has visible lines and uneven texture, possibly due to recent removal work. A brick wall with visible damage and large gaps, measured with a tape measure for repair assessment. A hole in a concrete wall is shown with a measuring tape next to it, indicating damage from an old kitchen removal.

Had similar damage in a previous apartment. I used plaster to repair and it turned out well. But if I were to do it again today, I would use the same plaster mix that the wall originally had.

Got gypsum plaster here as well. Seems to work well.
