Apartment from the turn of the century. If allowed by the housing association, can the "inner" layer of the brick wall under the window be removed to create more floor space?

Assuming the brick wall under the window is not load-bearing?

Expensive? Difficult to remove by oneself?

I understand the insulation will be worse, but it's already bad, a radiator will be installed.

Anyone?

No one?

How did it go?
In the picture, it looks like it was built up afterwards and therefore should be able to be torn down. Have you checked with the neighbors if they have similar ones?
