Hello everyone

I am in the process of replacing boards on my fence as many have rotted. The posts and beams seem to be in good condition to remain, which also saves work. However, the fence is a bit too low at the moment, and I wish to replace it with exterior panel boards that are about 15 cm higher. This means that the posts are too low.

Is there any solution to avoid replacing all the posts and somehow get the right height for them in relation to the new boards? I've considered everything from some "splice pipe" to extend them to a solution with an extra high post cap. I gratefully accept suggestions!

Best regards White wooden fence with vertical planks and supporting posts, surrounded by green grass and hedges, under bright sunlight.

Just nail the new boards in place? It's purely aesthetic to raise the posts. It'll be a lot of work for a small thing. You don't think about that!👍😊
