Post shoe in rock for Solar collectors

I am going to mount solar collectors on the rock outside the house
Question, does anyone have experience attaching pole shoes (instead of rock brackets) on rock and anchoring them with cement anchors? Do they hold well?

We need about 20 and pole shoes are about 100kr lower price each.

Drill larger holes in the rock than the diameter of the post anchor, rinse/blow clean. Press down anchor epoxy and push down the post anchor.

Absolutely! But if you want to have 20 post shoes and they need to follow a straight line, it's easier with larger holes and anchor mass. But everything depends on what the construction looks like to determine what is most appropriate... Both options work well.

Mm, when I read about the thread starter, I no longer get the feeling that cost is decisive. The holes are not difficult to drill in a straight line if you stretch a mason's string, and smaller holes are often easier, faster, and cheaper to drill than larger ones if you don't have access to a Cobra.

Next question: Do you know who sells brackets with good rust protection (we live on the west coast, 200m from the sea)? Which ones have the best hot-dip galvanizing among Bauhaus, Biltema, Hornbach, Biltema, or Byggmax?
