Hello,
I am going to mount plasterboard on a sparse panel in the ceiling (not ceiling plasterboard), and as I understand it, it is preferable to join the short sides on the spars, but to me, it feels wrong not to have support under the long sides.
Does it matter to not have support under the long sides? Should you put cross braces between the spars that you only screw the plasterboard into to get a little extra support?

How is it spaced in the ceiling?M mattiasohult said:Hi,

You should have sparse under all joints, both long and short sides.
