I am in the process of renovating our upper floor in a 1.5-story house.

I have insulated, installed battens, and wired the electricity.

In what order should I proceed? The tasks that need to be done are to plaster the ceiling, slanted ceiling, and walls, as well as frame the interior walls for the children's rooms and bathroom.

My thought was to plaster the entire ceiling and slanted ceiling first, and then install the studs in the ceiling and floor to build interior walls.
But is it sufficient to attach the upper stud to the ceiling through the plaster + battens (45 mm in the ceiling, 28 mm in the slanted ceiling)?

Or should I install the studs in the ceiling already now, before plastering? And then plaster around them, so to speak?
But this feels spontaneously more cumbersome...

Not all interior walls will be positioned exactly at load-bearing roof trusses, so in any case, I will have to be content with attaching them to the battens.

I would have also plastered the ceiling first, it must be much more convenient. Good luck!

We did the ceiling first and then the sloping wall, and then we'll take the interior walls. However, we skipped putting metal in the plasterboard joint, hoping that filler - waterproof glued paper tape - filler, and then possibly some microfleece will be enough.

Quite a large gap in places between the ceiling and the sloping wall as it was difficult to account for all the angles and cuts of the boards. We'll probably start with coarse filler to fill it out.
