I have two lists, square dowel and corner list.

I want to rout away one corner of the square dowel so that it becomes a "fat" L-list. (The dimensions I need are not available to buy ready-made)

The corner list/L-list, I want to rout away the rounded part so that it becomes flat instead. (No, a sanding machine won’t give the same precision)

Tips on how to proceed? Such a small handheld router? But can I with such a tool get support/guidance to give me the precision I need?

Wooden L-shaped molding with rounded corner and green arrow pointing to the corner. Text above reads "L-list, 22 x 22 x 2000 mm".

  • Close-up of a wooden strip with green outline indicating the area to be routed for transforming it into a L-profile or "fat" L-list.
Saw with the table saw or with the plunge saw and rail.

Tape with masking tape on the workbench and stave. Glue together with superglue. Rout. Remove.

The L-profile I made with a hand plane.

Table saw?

Router in a router table or do it with a table saw.
