I am going to build a Willab sunroom of about 30 square meters with spring-autumn doors on two sides and wood paneling on the third. A shed roof and placement along the long side of the house.
It will have an insulated metal roof, a concrete slab with underfloor heating, and even a stove in the sunroom.
My main concern is the connection to the existing facade. Horizontal wood paneling on vertical studs outside a brick facade. No additional insulation, with air inlets at the bottom with mouse band.
Now I'm thinking that when we connect and insulate the sunroom, cold air might get in from behind the facade. What should I do? Do we have to tear up the paneling and seal or mount the sunroom directly against the brick facade? Can it be sealed with insulation?
