We are planning to build a small walk-in closet and half-wall in the space between the bathroom and stairs.
Current Situation:
Vision:
The wall and sloped ceiling appear to consist of gypsum and osb boards. Behind that, the framework looks like this in Smålandsvillan's Villa Kalmar:
How can the new studs for the walk-in closet be built?
Should one completely remove the gypsum and osb boards in the relevant area to anchor the studs for the new walls to the existing studs? Or can it be done more smoothly, for example, by only removing the portions of the gypsum that need to be removed to anchor into osb and the studs behind?
The question is, what do I need to do with the existing wall and sloped ceiling to be able to build the new walls?

How can one do when the new studs for the walk-in closet are to be built?
Should one completely remove the plasterboard and OSB boards at the given area to anchor the studs for the new walls in existing studs? Or can it be done more smoothly, for example by only removing the parts of the plasterboard that need to be removed to be able to anchor in the OSB and in studs behind?
The consideration is; what do I need to do with the existing wall and sloping ceiling to be able to build the new walls?
Attaching to the OSB boards is more than sufficient.
