Hello! How do I remove what looks like a nut? It is octagonal and has internal threads (had a machine screw in it before). If you look from the back, you can see 4 metal pieces (alternating from the 8-sided piece). I've tried just pulling it out but haven't succeeded. The console itself can be shifted a bit, but the octagonal part does not move. I've tried googling but can't find anything similar and I don't know what it's called. It's a console for an Olle Pira shelf. I don't want to damage anything as I need the parts. Any tips?

  • Metal bracket labeled "PIRA system Sweden Vänster" attached to wood, featuring an octagonal nut with internal threads in the center.

Is it threaded on the inside, you say? It's not a so-called blind rivet nut then?
I don't know if you can join two parts with one of those, maybe you can....🤔

It seems to be the case! I googled it and pondered a bit, so now I've managed to remove the first one at least. Thanks! 😁
