How big should the gap be?
I want to build a deck/patio without needing to apply for a building permit, and if there is a gap between the house and the patio, I can avoid the permit, but if it is attached to the house, then I have to apply for a building permit. So my question is, how large does the gap need to be to classify it as a freestanding structure?

if I understood the text correctly, a porch/patio that is attached to the house becomes part of the house and requires a building permit, whereas a patio that is separate from the house is considered a completely separate part and is not counted in the house's square meter area. As I said, as I interpreted the text (but no one has said that I am good at technical Swedish, so)
