Hello everyone!

Situation:
An area of 4x4 meters is going to get a new intermediate floor. The ceiling is low on both floors, so every millimeter counts.

Suggestion:
Perimeter beam in 45x190.
Two glulam beams of 46x180 set at approximately 130cm apart and also from the outer walls. Span of 4m.
Between these glulam beams and the perimeter beam, install 45x170 joists in joist hangers with cc60.
Glued and screwed chipboard flooring on top.

What does the expertise say? Shoot!

Well. The glulam beams should be 90x180 for an OK deflection. c/c 800 mm for acceptable sagging. Otherwise, it should be fine.
